A pair of corduroy goats,

parked by the pond with their lattes,

 

deplore the puffa'd panache

and suave hurlings of a couple:

 

Must you throw that stick

for your mutt

 

to splash and soak

the wee lamb

 

in the underpaid nanny's pram

rattled by relaid cobbles

 

from streets

clanged hard along

 

by Co-op horses,

whose oranges, whose dung,

 

operative when well dug-in,

secured our tatties?
